The purpose of this project was to create a brochure students will use as an informational tool that would in turn make them successful in the agricultural communication major.
The final product was a brochure designed to provide information that will guide students from when they are accepted into Cal Poly agriculture communication major until they graduate. Areas of focus include advising, involvement, opportunities, internship, and graduation requirements.

Capiche! is an application that provides real-time feedback to teachers, while allowing everyone in the classroom both students and teachers to see how well the material is being absorbed all anonymously. The student interface will consist of three buttons- Capiche!, Ehh... ,and ...what? to allow to students to input their understanding from complete comprehension to no comprehension. The live update data of the entire classroom will then be displayed on everyone’s phones and tablets. California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo is home to the largest student run orientation program in the nation. The success of the program is due to a combination of student volunteer involvement, comprehensive topic coverage, campus and community involvement, and dedicated leadership. The purpose of this project was to develop agricultural communication lesson plans for Elk Grove High School’s Agricultural Leadership class. The lesson plans were created after the research of the existing California Agricultural Education and Agricultural Leadership Curriculum standards. The lesson plans were then based off of the FFA Agricultural Communications Career Development Event (CDE) guidelines in order to grasp many of the important details of the CDE.
