This comparison was undertaken to see if the blind child has both emotional-psychological and physical-descriptive concepts of color which are similar to those of seeing children when expressed verbally. The hypotheses tested in this study are concerned with the efficacy of different methods of trying to aid underachievers. Specifically they are: 1. There is no difference in academic achievement as reflected in grade-point-average between students who received group counseling, special study instruction and no special treatment. 2.
