It provides children with the opportunity to experience the satisfaction of fitting into a social group in an atmosphere which is conducive to learning and which promotes healthy emotional control. Academic learning and disciplined behavior are inseparable. If the latter breaks down, the former is impaired. Good teaching is made possible only by good discipline.
