The purpose of this research study was to determine whether any significant differences existed between generational cohorts, gender and employment status, and reported levels of job satisfaction among faculty at institutions within the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). This study aimed to influence institutional objectives and values to make any necessary adjustments in the attraction and retention of faculty members. The Academic Setting Evaluation Questionnaire (ASEQ) was used to survey participants. The Relationship Between Social Science Majors' Quantitative-Course Experience And Their Quantitative Anxiety, Kelly Mcintyre

This study examined the relationship between quantitative anxiety, specifically mathematics anxiety and statistics anxiety, and quantitative-course experience with gender. Social science majors from two universities were offered the opportunity to complete an online survey. Twentyone undergraduates responded. The survey contained demographic questions, 25 items from the Revised-Mathematics Anxiety Rating Scale, and 24 items from the Statistical Anxiety Scale. Data from the surveys were analyzed using linear regression and multiple regression. Data showed all students had some level of mathematics test anxiety and statistics class test anxiety. This study sought to examine the mentoring experiences of new principals in Washington State and its impact on their job satisfaction. This quantitative study employed the Principal Induction and Mentoring Survey (PIMS) to 496 Washington State public elementary school principals who were serving in their first five years of their principalship. Using a correlational design, this study explored (1) the impact mentoring had on job satisfaction for elementary school principals, (2) the relationship between job satisfaction and gender, (3) the relationship between job satisfaction and teaching experience, and (4) the underlying structure of the PIMS. High school students and working-age adults are frequently pressured by teachers, relatives, peers, employers, and state and federal governments to attend college for such reasons as obtaining new skills, increasing salary and prestige, and seeking new career opportunities (Baxter & Kavanagh, 2012; Calmes, 2014; Holcomb, 2008; Pringle, DuBose, & Yankey, 2010). Approximately 25% of these students drop out of school within the freshman year (ACT, 2013) due, in part, to a poor personality fit with their major (Jones & Jones, 2014).
