Consulting for a startup company is an effective way for Master of Business Administration (MBA) students to learn about management consulting, and the ways and means of a startup company. This paper discusses the experience of an MBA startup project within the context of a core corporate finance course. The project requires the active engagement of several groups of stakeholders—MBA students, the university’s entrepreneurship incubator, a selection of startup companies, and the project’s academic collaborators. Background: An important part of biomedical research is the translation of discoveries into clinical or community applications that impact patient health. For a vast majority of clinical applications and sustainable community interventions, a time-tested way to get innovations to patients is through licensing of the technology and commercial development, often through startups. While biomedical scientists and trainees are schooled in discovery research, the processes of commercialization are foreign or intimidating. This paper explores inclusive entrepreneurship course design across European universities. Drawing a sample of six cases across five universities the paper adopts a multiple case study research design to explore how educators are supporting the Missing Entrepreneurs according to the OECD definition (women, people with disability, refugees and migrants, young people and seniors). The findings show interesting and innovative pedagogical approaches to emerge by analogy and replication. The requirement to transform higher education institutions (HEIs) to become inclusive entrepreneurial entities is underpinned by policy and by changes over past decades on the role and linkages of universities to their environment. This paper aims to understand how HEIs are transforming as inclusive entrepreneurial entities using the European University of Technology (EUt+) as a case in practice. The study draws on a conceptual framework developed by O’Brien, Cooney and Blenker (2019) for expanding university entrepreneurial ecosystems to under-represented communities. My Pop-Up Shoppe is a curriculum to teach students problem-solving and independent learning through running a small business. Everything needed to facilitate a My Pop-Up Shoppe experience where students will take part in a hands-on, real-life entrepreneurial journey is included. During My Pop-Up Shoppe, students will receive a product provided by the facilitator, school or organization and be challenged to turn the product into a running business with real sales and customers. The facilitator will empower students to be startup founders. The suggested timeline of My Pop-Up Shoppe is anywhere from a weekend to two-weeks.

We develop a model to evaluate the aggregate impact of college finance in an environment with entrepreneurship. The calibrated model captures the stylized fact that entrepreneurs with college are more common and more profitable in the United States. The calibration indicates this is mainly because higher labor earnings allow college‐educated agents to ameliorate credit constraints if and when they eventually become entrepreneurs. Changes in financing constraints on entrepreneurs can thus affect college attendance, and changes in financing constraints on college can affect entrepreneurship rates as well.

A sustainable program theory model describes ways that training and employing these citizens to remodel abandoned houses may be expected to have benefits to a community. An approach to develop entrepreneurial thinking skills in engineering students by integrating online modules into existing courses is described. Eighteen online modules covering a variety of topics will be developed. Developers for the modules are selected by reviewing proposals submitted in response to a broadly distributed request for proposals. Developers undergo extensive training before embarking upon module development. Students will complete each standalone module outside of class hours. Instructors who deploy a module in their course will develop contextual course assignments that reinforce concepts covered in the modules. This paper reviews past research that focused on the delivery of, and support for, entrepreneurship education (EE) within the Canadian post-secondary academic environment. Specifically this review focuses on the trend towards EE ‘inclusivity’ within both the Canadian post-secondary system and the individual institutions examined. A wide range of studies is reviewed and impacts are categorized across key stakeholder groups. This paper concludes with insights for future research specific to other key stakeholders and provides examples to highlight academic institutions that have established EE experiences both within and outside the curriculum to satisfy a broad and diverse student population
