Dr. Kang, a native of South Korea, currently serves as a professor of music at Chung-Ang University in South Korea and teaches applied piano and piano literature. Ouachita Baptist University’s Division of Music will host pianist Dr. Cole Burger in concert on Thursday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m. in McBeth Recital Hall in Mabee Fine Arts Center. The recital, which is part of Ouachita’s Guest Artist Series, is free and open to the public.

Burger is an instructor in the College of Musical Arts at Bowling Green State University, where he teaches and coordinates class piano and piano pedagogy. He holds degrees in piano performance and economics from Northwestern University and the University of Texas.
