The purpose of this hermeneutic phenomenological was to describe teacher efficacy in the lived experiences of secondary teachers actively engaged in the instructional coaching process. The theoretical framework guiding this study was Albert Bandura’s (1992) social cognitive theory as it expounds upon the role efficacy plays in human agency as it encompasses teacher’s individual beliefs and past experiences, as well as, the extrinsic motivations. Teacher efficacy, the confidence a teacher holds regarding their abilities to enact student learning, can be influenced by interactions with instructional coaches. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to describe the pedagogical influences of the value-added model of evaluation as experienced by elementary school teachers in a North Georgia suburban school district. This dissertation was a quantitative, correlational study that examined the impact of the mentor component of a mentor-based induction program on three factors of new teacher development and support. This correlative study explored the relationship between the religious commitment of junior and senior Christian high school students and their level of Bible literacy as indicated by their respective scores on the Duke University Religion Index (DUREL) and Assessment of Bible Knowledge Test (ABKT). This study examined the impact of Guided Reading instruction on elementary students’ ability to read with fluency and accuracy. A one-way analysis of covariance with pre and posttest design was performed and applied to determine the impact of Guided Reading instruction on elementary students’ reading fluency and accuracy. The sample of subjects included 108 elementary students in the fourth and fifth grade.
