RESOLVED That the Faculty Senate request the appropriate administrative officer to identify those Freshmen who have not yet preregistered for the Spring 1981 semester and to notify those students' DLE instructors of this fact as soon as possible.

WHEREAS freedom of the press is a special right in society with particular significance for higher education, and; WHEREAS this right carries with it responsibilities recognized by people of good will, and; WHEREAS the Brockport academic community feels a sense of outrage and embarrassment at a recent issue of the Stylus; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Faculty Senate of the State University of New York College at Brockport expresses its very strong objection to the Stylus and urges its editorial staff to apologize to the Women's Coalition, Dr. Charles Crawford, Dr. Albert Brown, and the Brockport community ...
