Global Research On Andragogy: A Bibliometric Analysis, Shakil Ahmad, Saghir Mehar, Nadeem Siddique, Muhammad Ajmal Khan

This study presents an overview of the published research in the field of andragogy using bibliometric methods. Scopus database produced a list of 698 manuscripts that were cited 2383 times with an average of 3.41 citations per publication. More than 89% of Scopus-based research on andragogy was published in the English language while 61% of this research was published in form of journal articles. Bibliometric analysis was used to assess the research productivity of the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geological (WIHG) during 1991-2020. Data was collected from the Scopus database, and VOSviewer software used for visualization. The study focused on various bibliometrics parameters like year-wise research growth, Authors productivity, Growth rates measures (AGR, RGR, Dt), Collaboration measures (DC and CC), subject-wise distributions, most prolific authors, highly collaborative institutions, most cited documents, top funding agency, types of documents, etc. The results showed that the maximum number of documents, 93 (7.21%), were published in 2017. Abstract

This bibliometric study was designed to analyze the scholarly publications of librarians in Universities in Nigeria from 2000-2012. It was guided by six objectives and two null-hypotheses. The study covered 16 Universities located in the seven states of the North -West, Nigeria while the publications analyzed were journal articles, chapters in books, books, conference proceedings etc published by the librarians in the study area.
