The purpose of this international workshop is to introduce the use of public radio as a non formal education (NFE) and enlightenment tool for HIV-AIDS across the listening population. It also targets the provision of media packages of literacy/educational tools that are specifically aligned to the life orientation for the society especially for individuals with HIV and their relatives, media practitioners, school teachers, students, as well as general public enlightenment on the prevention of HIV-AIDS.
