The purpose of the study was to investigate whether or not there is a significant effect of silent short movie on EFL writing achievement of the vocational high school students. This study was quasi-experimental using a nonrandomized control group, pretest-posttest design. There were 61 students who were selected randomly from the 10 classes of tenth-graders of the 6th State Vocational School in Samarinda. The instruments used in the study was writing test. This study aims to determine the industrial assessment of technical and employability skills of students. The research was conducted by using survey method in several industries as the place of the Job Training (PKL) of the students. The research technique used purposive random sampling with respondents in this research consist of 23 industry in Jakarta area. The results of the research are (1) the industrial assessment of the technical skills of the students obtained a score of 73.10 with high interpretation; (2) The industry average rating of employability of students skills is 83.10 with very high interpretation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar lompat jauh gaya jongkok dengan menggunakan rekaman visual pada siswa kelas IX SMPN Satu Atap Manuru, Kecamatan Siotapina. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas sebanyak dua siklus. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2014. This research was conducted to improve students' achievement on Citizenship Education through Talking Stick Instructional Model in Class VII B Muhammadiyah Junior High School Seyegan academic year of 2015/216. It was Classroom Action Research . Based on result of the study it can be concluded that the implementation of Talking Stick Instructional Model improved students' achievement on Citizenship Education. It was based upon the results that (1) the procentage of passer grade was increased through entire cycles.
