A plethora of studies on intergenerational trauma and a nascent body of studies regarding policing are amalgamated in this phenomenological research approach. This phenomenological study aimed to understand the adverse experiences of Black individuals’ interactions with law enforcement and how these involvements contribute to the transmission of trauma. The intergenerational trauma of Blacks’ experiences could be processed through Critical Race Theory (CRT), Personal Construct Theory (PCT), and Bowen’s Multigenerational Family Systems Theory (BMFST). Forgiveness is as powerful as it is complex. Evaluating how teachers understand and practice forgiveness has potential applications within broader forgiveness theory as well as more practically in discussions of both teacher health related to practicing forgiveness and student learning of forgiveness. The present study sought to gather qualitative insights related to teacher understanding of forgiveness, teacher practice of forgiveness within their jobs, and teacher opinions on forgiveness education. The theory guiding this study is attachment theory. Having an understanding of mental health literacy in rural based adolescents is essential for creating change in levels of knowledge, beliefs about mental health, and help-seeking behaviors. The Mental Health Literacy Scale (MHLS) is a self-report measure of mental health literacy. This study used the MHLS to measure mental health literacy in rural students ages 14-17 and in Grades 9–12. The purpose of this systematic grounded theory study was to define and explain the development of homeschool teacher self-efficacy and its significance for homeschooling parents in Wisconsin. This quantitative, causal-comparative study examines differences in attitudes and subjective norms between first- and continuing-generation college students toward plagiarism. Research studies have reported that up to 90% of college students admitted having committed plagiarism. Plagiarism harms the student who cheats, the reputation of the school, and all associated. First-generation college students experience greater challenges in their first years of college than their continuing-generation peers and may be more at risk for resorting to plagiarism. This study used a quantitative correlational method to examine the correlation between self-care, burnout, compassion satisfaction, and secondary traumatic stress among higher education faculty members across multiple disciplines. One hundred and fifty-one participants from two higher education institutions and Listservs provided feedback for the study. Participants completed a demographics questionnaire and two surveys, the National Alliance in Mental Illness Self-care instrument and the Professional Quality of Life scale. Results showed collectively significant results between self-care and burnout, compassion satisfaction, and secondary traumatic stress.
