The internationalization trends indicate that global growth of international students moving from one country to another is predicted to exceed 7.2 billion in 2025 (IIE, 2011)). This crossing of borders inevitably evokes that international students confront multifaceted challenges in their host country. The Problem. In this qualitative study, 24 participants, ages 18-30, who had previously attended international Christian schools for at least 2 years at the secondary level, or a combination of 4 years at the primary and middle school levels, were interviewed to determine the traits, characteristics, and qualities they valued in their teachers.
Methodology. Incorporating principles of Grounded Theory, a series of rigorous steps associated with the validity process of Grounded Theory construction was employed. Problem Statement. The purpose of this study is to describe the out-of-class experiences of 21 students who studied in the Saint Mary's College Ireland Program in Maynooth, Ireland, during the 1998-1999 academic year. It examines (1) how the program orientation influenced students' desire to become involved in out-of-class activities, (2) how out-of-class experiences fostered students' learning of the Irish culture, and (3) how the experiences influenced students' attitudes toward cultures other than their own.

Problem. The purpose of this study was to compare and contrast two distinct educational models: (1) Peruvian educational reform, which affected both public and private education throughout the country, and (2) the Seventh-day Adventist educational system as represented by Inca Union College. This research was limited geographically to Peru chronologically to the educational reform of 1968 and 1980. After the historical background was established, emphasis was placed on the Peruvian educational reform as a model of innovation as compared with the Seventh-day Adventist model at Inca Union College.

While much research has been conducted on learning style in the United States, no known empirical study has been done to compare the learning styles of Asian and Caucasian students on Seventh-day Adventist campuses. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in learning-style preferences between a group of Asian students at Southeast Asia Union College in Singapore and Caucasian students at Andrews University in Michigan.

Problem. Manpower Planning is a part of the administrative process of an organization. The Inter-American Division of Seventh-day Adventists operates a program in higher education through eight institutions which serves the countries of the Division. This educational program is not equipped with a planning process that will provide the professional manpower for these institutions as they grow and expand their current offering of programs.
