The high level o frustration voiced by secondary English teachers regarding the lack of resources available for evaluating student writing assignments was addressed by utilizing a quality circle approach to brainstorm and refine various methods of evaluation. Secondary English teachers participated in the creation of the Operation Relief handbook under the guidance of the quality circle coordinator. The results of the creation and dissemination of this handbook indicated a decrease in the level of frustration. A Personalized Developmental Model For The Teaching Of Communications I, Miriam F. Word

The target group for this practicum was 17 community college students. The problem for this practicum is that many students are unable to communicate through writing due to a lack of ability to stay on task or grasp the writing process, resulting in low final grade scores for those students. The solution strategy, a unique approach entitled "Type" Writing," involved pre- and post-surveys with classroom methods and writing assignments keyed to the learning types of the students as identified using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
