To support the College's effort to develop a unique identity as an institution with selective admissions, elective educational programs, and efficient academic services in conjunction with the 1980 SUNY Master Plan calling for universal access, the College has set criteria and requirements for Fall 1982 Freshmen admissions.

College Senate Resolutions

Due to concerns and a lack of information within the Faculty about the procedures, strategies, standards, and results within the admissions area, the Senate calls upon the President of the College to urge the Admissions staff to share all relevant information concerning admissions trends and projections, beginning in Spetember of every year; and that Faculty-at-Large voluntarily participate in the direct recruitment of eligible students throughout the academic year.

BE IT RESOLVED That the President of the Faculty Senate, or his designee, in conjunction with the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Professional Ethics, be directed to destroy all files, notes, evidence, and material relating to cases brought before the Ethics Committee prior to May 1, 1978, with the exception of the written record of the determination of each case. That on May 1 of each succeeding year, the President of the Faculty Senate, or his/her designee, in conjunction with the Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Professional Ethics, be responsible for the destruction of all files, notes ...
