Shri. Vajubhai Patel, visionary educationist passed away. Vajubhai had worked with Mahatma Gandhi.
Vajubhai created an environment of freedom, were we ‘enjoyed’ coming to school, to participate and work ceaselessly with all our might, to innovate and to allow students to create, criticize and find solutions. He inspired us to experiment and not stick to the text-book. Thus, we framed a curriculum for social studies which was totally new concept at that time.
