The purpose of this study was to investigate unsecured debt and the practice of saving early for retirement by recent female college graduates. An electronic survey was conducted to assess graduates from the calendar years 1994--2004. An over-sampling of Family and Consumer Sciences majors was conducted for comparison. The amount of debt, amount of retirement savings, attitudes toward retirement, and expectations toward retirement were investigated. A survey was conducted to examine food intake and food attitudes of 285 Korean female students attending a high school in Seoul. Food intake was assessed using a food frequency based on the Korean Food Tower consisting of five food groups, i.e., grain products, vegetables and fruits, meat, milk, and fats and sweets. The purposes of this study were to determine if Northern Sudanese women with (1) different family backgrounds (traditional, transitional, or modern), (2) different geographic locations (urban high-income, urban low-income, and rural low-income areas), and (3) different educational backgrounds differed in their attitudes toward traditional gender roles and changes occurring in these roles.
