The purpose of this research study was to examine whether the Master of Science in Agronomy Distance Education Program at Iowa State University has had an impact on students' career mobility and economic status. Lifelong learning opportunities for agricultural professionals, like a majority of other field professional are growing exponentially. This study aims to deepen our understanding of the policy and educational approaches within the Seattle, Washington residential recycling program. Through an analysis of Seattle's policy approaches and the role of education, this study makes recommendations for both its improvement and other communities looking to bolster and or implement their own recycling program. One of the biggest struggles a foreign language teacher faces is moving her students from reading and writing in the target language to speaking and listening in the target language. This study focuses on how the use of digital audio files (e.g. Podcasts), online discussions and student anxiety can affect a student's ability to comprehend and speak in a second language.
