The purpose of this study was to provide a qualitative case study analysis of the soft skill development of summer camp staff members at the Kentucky FFA Leadership Training Center and to look at whether or not the leadership development focus of the camp program had an increased impact on the development of the staff members’ leadership skills. The purpose of this creative component is to design a tool for 4-H and FFA livestock judging coaches to use to strengthen their team and teach their students. Livestock judging team participation helps students grow in skills including, but not limited to, communication, confidence, animal evaluation, decision-making, competitiveness, self-motivation, organization, self-discipline, and the ability to accept criticism.
