This study aimed at identifying the degree of educational partnership between students’ parents and Al-Ain Eastern Cycle 2 & 3 schools. Furthermore, the study investigated the most significant recommendation to promote that partnership. Accordingly, the researcher used the quantitative and qualitative research approach to collect the required data. A survey and an interview were designed to collect the quantitative and qualitative data respectively.

In 2005, the government of Abu Dhabi started a reform initiative by establishing the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC). ADEC became responsible for efforts to improve the performance of schools and increase students’ achievement in the emirate. One way to do this was by creating the New School Model (NSM). The study aimed to investigate and gather perspectives regarding the effectiveness of the training programs offered by ADEC to the HoFs. The researcher used both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods in order to answer the research questions. A survey inclusive of 38 questions was used, and it was divided into four sections pertaining to professional development. These sections were made up of the importance of professional development programs; their goals; specifications; and evaluation.
