The Problem of this study was to determine if the cognitive style of elementary school principals affects the principal's evaluation of a teacher when there is a match or mismatch between the principal's and teacher's cognitive style. Using the Productivity Environmental Preference Survey, the dimensions of right brain/left brain hemispheric dimensions of cognitive style were measured for the sample population. The sample population included 40 elementary school principals and 120 elementary school teachers. The past few years have seen an increased interest in the use of compressed video technology to deliver instruction. The purpose of this study was to evaluate: (a) whether compressed video technology could be used to deliver distance education courses effectively, (b) whether instructors' and students' would have positive attitudes toward the technology, and (c) whether there was a difference in the learning of students at either the origination site or the receive site.

The purpose of this case study was to examine and to provide information about the early identification of school-avoidance behavior. Factor analysis was performed on the interview data of 10 school-avoidant students, their parents, teachers or school counselors. The Self-esteem Index was administered to the school-avoidant students and a control group of 10 students matched according to gender and grade. Interviews, school attendance records, test results, developmental histories, medical histories, and observations were the data used to draw generalizations concerning the school-avoidant students, their parents, and their educators.
