The current study aimed to identify the mean effect size of the alpha coefficient for the overall reliability of the MBI scale, and for the sub-dimensions; Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and lack of personal achievement through the analysis of (32) studies in which the inclusion criteria were met. The results of the research indicated that the mean alpha coefficient across the studies (n = 32) for overall reliability and dimensions; Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and lack of personal achievement were 0.83, 0.83, 0.78, and 0.77, respectively. The study aimed at investigating the relationship between teaching anxiety and mind habits among new teachers in The Sultanate of Oman. The random sample of the study consisted of 373 teachers, (198) teachers of humanity sciences and (175) teachers of applied sciences. The study used the descriptive correlational method. The present study aimed to uncover the possibility of mediating academic self-efficacy beliefs in the relationship between parenting styles and psychological coping styles among tenth grade students in the Sultanate of Oman. The sample consisted of 598 male and female students. The researchers used the Adjustment Styles Scale, and it consists of two dimensions of positive and negative coping. Structural equation modeling (SEM) is a collection of advanced statistical methods that has recently and limitedly become used in Arabic research. The purpose of this research is to illustrate how to use SEM in a study to explain the phenomenon of cyberbullying using the theory of planned behavior on a sample of 307 students at Hail university. The five steps in SEM are outlined: model specification, identification, estimation, testing, and modification. The current study aimed to identify the counseling needs and their relationship to the level of aspiration and attitudes towards study among university students with disabilities. The sample consisted of 85 students with disabilities enrolled at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. The results indicated high percentages of counseling needs, and it came in the following order: academic, professional, psychological, health, social, and informatics. The purpose of this study was to predict the dimensions of intrinsic motivation from self-concept among 1684 first-year students at Sultan Qaboos University. A related purpose was to explore statistically significant gender differences in self-concept and the dimensions of intrinsic motivation. The study tools were intrinsic motivation and self-concept scales. The results showed that academic and non-academic self-concept predicted challenge, curiosity, and independence. Statistically significant differences were attributed to gender in the challenge, independence, and academic self-concept in favor of females. There were no statistically significant gender differences in curiosity and non-academic self-concept.

Working memory training programs have attracted great interest, with claims that the training programs can have diverse beneficial effects. The purpose of this article was to examine near- and far-transfer effects following working-memory training and identify the significant moderators related to these effects. Twenty- three research articles were included in the meta-analysis. The results showed that near-transfer effects of verbal and visual-spatial working memory skills had effect sizes ranging from 3.22 to 2.99 respectively. Far-transfer effects of reading comprehension and academic achievement had effect sizes ranging from 3.17 to 2.43 respectively. The current study investigated the feasibility of developing a computerized adaptive form of Raven’s Colored Progressive Matrices test, one of the most important culture-free intelligent tests, using the Item Response Theory. This study aimed to predict social self-concept through parenting styles as perceived by students in grades (6-10) of the basic education in the Sultanate of Oman. The sample included 509 students randomly selected from different school districts. The participants responded to the social self-concept questionnaire and the parenting authority questionnaire. The results indicated that the sample had high levels of social self-concept and parenting styles, except for the permissive style of father and mother. This study attempts to identify self-determination and intrinsic motivation amongst tenth-grade students in Karak. The study sample consisted of 724 students selected according to the stratified random sampling. In order to achieve the study objectives, the author used Self-Determination Scale (SDS) and the Intrinsic Motivation Scale (IMS) after verifying their validity and reliability.
