This research is entitled The Socio-economic Integration Strategies of “former Rwandan refugees” in Yaoundé, Cameroon. This is an analysis of immigrants who were once under international protection. The presence of former Rwandan refugees in the city of Yaoundé dates back to the time of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. With the advent of the cessation clause in 2018, we are faced with individuals who must find ways of coping with the new realities. This study investigates how comprehensive internationalization policies, while creating valuable educational opportunities for students, may inadvertently contribute to increased inequity on campus. Utilizing a case study approach focused on a specific university, the research critically examines the alignment between internationalization and equity policies through document analysis and structured interviews. The study evaluates the congruency between the university's stated goals of equity and internationalization (espoused theories) and the actual day-to-day practices of the international and diversity offices (theories-in-practice). It is based on the historical Mayo Feminista protests and the resulting passage of Ley 21.369, which aims to regulate sexual assault, gender violence, and gender discrimination in higher education. The current education system in Chile has adopted a multicultural neoliberal model, in which education both as an institution and as a practice is conducted with neoliberal ideologies. Mapuche movements in Chile have largely battled against neoliberalism, which operates in conjunction with colonial practices. The identity of Mapuche people thus operates on a contradiction of neoliberal practices. This paper, centralizing critical educational literature and three interviews with Mapuche university students, strives to analyze this tension between Mapuche identity and student experiences under this neoliberal context. This research investigates the perceptions held by Ghanaian Chrsitians from Pentecostal/Charismatic churches about mental illnesses. The data collected was done through a qualitative method of acquiring information. Interviews were conducted alongside intensive research of existing scholarship that addressed religion and mental health within Ghanaian culture. The present work tries to understand if the health communication programs in Chile are sufficient and, specifically, if the Chilean state guarantees the right to information of indigenous peoples in the context of COVID-19 in the Arica and Parinacota region. For this, semi-structured interviews were carried out and analyzed using the Atlas.ti software. The results showed that the indigenous peoples of Arica and Parinacota need intercultural programs that recognize their rights and cultures, and more access to information.
