A hands-on workshop demonstrating curriculum applications integrating three key functions of Education Network Australia (EdNA) Online. Teachers used EdNA Search to locate selected, safe digital resources for use in online curriculum modules or learning quests. EdNA RSS feeds delivered news and new resources to the desktop, intranet, learning management system or website. Teachers shared ideas and resources, and worked with others to develop collaborative curriculum support materials using EdNA Groups.

The mission is to create a Universal Library which will foster creativity and free access to all human knowledge. As a first step in realizing this mission, it is proposed to create the Universal Library with a free-to-read, searchable collection of one million books, available to everyone over the Internet. Within 10 years, it is our expectation that the collection will grow to 10 Million books. The result will be a unique resource accessible to anyone in the world 24x7, without regard to nationality or socioeconomic background. Information Technology Services and the University Library partnered to build an Internet2-enabled Learning Commons (LC) at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. The project team now extends the campus partnership model to include student and faculty users in collaboratively applying Scandinavian style co-design methodologies for physical and virtual learning and teaching environments. The interactive design approach was tested from January to June 2005 with funding from a U.S. Office of Naval Research Internet2 MiniGrant subcontract award.
