It was the purpose of this study (1) to examine the attitudes of principals as to whether they saw their roles changing as a result of professional negotiations, (2) to show how the principals felt their roles would be changed, (3) to examine which type or group of principals felt most threatened by professional negotiations, and (4) what stratagem principals may follow in the future as a reaction to teacher militancy.

The purpose of this survey was (1) to determine the purchasing power and buying habits of a typical student, for himself and others, in a small high school over a specific period of time; (2) to compare the amounts (commodities and services) spent by boys and girls; (3) to determine the relative buying habits and purchasing capacities of different high school classes; (4) to ascertain if students living in-town spend more or less than those living out-of-town; and (5) to compare the purchasing results of this survey with two other selected similar surveys that have been completed on consumer buying.

The purpose of this study was to compare: (1) how a professional organization’s members voted in relation to the organization’s recommendations; (2) how the professional group voted in comparison to the public in general; (3) deviations within the professional group on the basis of age and sex from the stated policy of the professional organization in order to determine if any segment of the membership failed to follow the leadership, and if not, where and why they did not.
