The purpose of the study was to create a profile of the effective vocational agriculture teacher by identifying behaviors using selected teacher effectiveness criteria. The design for the study utilized descriptive survey methodology;Vocational agriculture teachers from 12 north central states served as the population for the study. A systematic sample of 330 teachers along with 220 substitute teachers were selected to participate in the study. The study's objectives were to determine the attitudes of agricultural education professors toward cognitive skill development and the frequency in which they use cognitive skill development techniques within their college classes. Sources of course goals were also prioritized and demographic data were collected;The study's population was 319 agricultural education faculty from which a random sample of 176 was drawn. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Future Farmers of America's National Judging Contests. A correlational design was used in the investigation, with select causal-comparative statistical techniques used for data analysis. The sample consisted of 225 contest participants between the years 1979 to 1981.
