Administrators of both public and private sector firms are charged with the effective management of their respective agencies. Effective management includes not only striving to fulfil the goals of the organization toward the external client, it includes proper management of employees, a vital resource to any organization. Likewise, police administrators are bound by duty to not only uphold the laws within their jurisdiction, they are also responsible for maintaining a desirable work environment for their employees.
