Despite the recent importance of technological entrepreneurship to sport business, very little is known about the entrepreneurs who are actively defining this new landscape. And, given that effective communication is essential to a thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem, it is important for investors to understand who sport entrepreneurs are and how they position themselves to the world. This will help create a sport business landscape that is receptive to new technologies and supportive of the entrepreneurs who champion them. The “Tennessee Processing Cooperative Law”1 provides new opportunities for Tennessee farmers. These include new market opportunities for farm commodities and the opportunity for investment in a value-added processing business. The new law is intended to encourage business formations that will add value to farm commodities and agricultural resources in Tennessee.

The YE$ curriculum has been designed for use in three ways to strengthen 4-H programming. Extension agents may use the curriculum to:
• Teach lessons in the classroom as a visiting educator or co-teach with the classroom teacher.
• Conduct workshops for educators who would like to have a copy of the curriculum and teach the materials themselves.
• Train volunteer leaders to conduct entrepreneurial activities with members enrolled in 4-H projects. The YE$ curriculum is designed as an enrichment activity to be integrated with or to supplement existing projects.

For years farmers have been reporting financial information on a variety of forms for various reasons. Effective management of a farming operation today requires that records be kept so managers can make informed decisions affecting the profitability of their farms.
Some lending institutions require detailed business and personal information on everything a farmer owns, as well as the status of unpaid loans.
