This study attempted to identify the major interpretive differences of the Cost/Schedule Control Systems Criteria (C/SCSC) between Department of Defense DoD and contractor performance management professionals, and to understand why these differences occurred. As the study progressed, its focus shifted to an evaluation of the Interpretive Guide, an Air Force Institute of Technology AFIT published document used to assist in the understanding of the criteria elements.
