The aim of this study is to present a proposal to solve the problem of the absence of an independent natural representative to the holders of unrestricted investment accounts in Islamic banks, as this absence prevents them from practice their rights and protecting them completely and disruption the balance between their interests and those of Islamic banks.

Jordan Journal of Islamic Studies

The research deals with the issue of Shari'a compliance function in Islamic banking and its supervisory role in combating money laundering operations, following the Shari'a and its implementation requirements in Islamic banks.

The research also shows Islamic financial industry’sneed to legitimate funds away from suspicions and financial crimes, and the means of detecting these financial crimes by regulatory bodies to prevent any Shari’a violations and detecting the violations in the event of its occurrence.

The research highlighted the extent to which these regulatory bodies need to achieve Shari’a compliance in accordance with its rules, away from any suspicion.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the meaning of provisions, its types and sharia rules; as well as establishing a Fiqhi background for it. Further, clarifying the sharia regulations to form provisions in Islamic Banks and any fiqhi; problems within the differences in Islamic banks and traditional banks in dealing the extra provisions and the rules of provisions Zakat.

The study is divided into an introduction and two subjects; the first subject was devoted to provisions: Technical aspects of provisions. The second subject discussed the provisions from fiqhi perspective.

العلاقة بين السيولة والربحية والملاءة في المصارف الإسلامية The Relationship Between Liquidity, Profitability And Solvency In Islamic Banks, Khaled Lafy Alnaif, Kholoud Daifallah Al-Qallab

Jordan Journal of Islamic Studies

This study aims to test and analyze the relationship between liquidity, profitability and solvency in Islamic banks.

For this purpose (48) observations of (6) Asian Islamic banks over the period 2009-2016 were comprised.

The empirical results of regression analysis revealed that there is a statistically significant negative relationship between bank profitability and both of liquidity and solvency. The results also showed that the liquidity has a positive significant relationship with solvency.

The study recommends the need to establish Islamic capital market and Islamic investment instrument to help Islamic banks in solving liquidity surplus and shortage problem.
