Spiritism is one of the oldest cults in existence. Practically every major civilization has indulged in spiritistic practices. Through the centuries it waxed and waned in popularity, but still it managed to survive until this present day. The importance of any movement may be determined, in part, by its claim. If these claims are true, they will demand careful attention of all concerned. The Mormon Church claims to represent "the restoration of the Gospel at Jesus Christ." The foundation tor this assertion is based on the Book of Mormon.
