The 1995 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association met at Flint Hill Baptist Church and Sandy Plains Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The minutes are dedicated to the memory of Rev. Charles Webb Walker and Rev. Edly Byron Hicks. Rev. Yasuaki Fugunaga from Japan was visiting the Association, and mission partnerships with Japan and South Africa were being considered. Mrs. Mary Lou Causby is the first female moderator in the history of the Association. Church and Communities Ministry became a partner of the Metrolina Food Bank. Note that Rev.
