The Women's Missionary Union observed its fiftieth anniversary. The Baptist Hospital report indicated that building expansion is needed to provide accommodations for more patients and equipment. The Committee on Baptist Orphanage reported a typhoid fever outbreak effecting thirty children at the Orphanage. The Association reported that there is a pending bill in Congress called the Hepburn-Dolliver Bill that will prevent the shipment of liquor to Prohibition states from non-Prohibition states. The Association resolved to not use public school funding to establish a new denominational high school.
