The 1908 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at New Bethel Baptist Church in Cleveland County, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by D.G. Washburn. Voters in North Carolina voted to enforce Prohibition statewide on May 26, 1908. The Boiling Springs High School Board of Trustees reported that the construction of the school building has been completed.
