The objective of most religious teachings and concepts is to change the student's attitude that desirable behavior may follow. The measurement of attitudes and the way people feel about certain religious concepts are, to an extent, determinative of their behavior. This realization has brought about a steady growth within the educational field of attitude and opinion measurement. It has also influenced religious educators to investigate this field in their efforts to get people to attain desirable religious goals.

This study involves the history of one of the largest softball tournaments in the world. Sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Tournament has become one of the greatest athletic events in the Church.

Theories of vocational choice are of current and vital interest to the counseling profession. Roe's theoretical work based on the Freudian assumption that occupational choice is related to family atmostphere has particularly stimulated recent research in this area. This study similarly follows her theory and employs Dr. Nachmann's techniques who tested comparable hypotheses with different groups in 1957.
The problem of this study was to determine if there were certain differences in the childhood experience of physicists, L.D.S. seminary teachers, and outstanding competitive athletes. Fifteen B.Y.U. students were interviewed in each group, the interviews following the items of a questionnaire. …

This is a study of certain high school and college students to the thirteen Fireside Programs given under the direction of the General Authorities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the first three months of 1960. The purposes of this study are twofold: (1) to study the reactions to the fireside program and (2) to study the change in conduct of the audience through the addresses and discussions.
