Dr. Isgrigg (Director of the Holy Spirit Research Center) lectures on how ORU as an institution has progressed since its inception through church history as a Spirit-Empowered university. School of Education Book Chapters
Excerpt from book chapter: "For nearly a millennium, pilgrims have made their way to Santiago de Compostela to visit the tomb of Saint James. These pilgrims initially journeyed from the Iberian Peninsula and then greater Europe, establishing over a dozen routes to reach the northwestern city in modern-day Galicia, a province of Spain. These routes followed established pathways connecting urban hubs, ports, and trade channels. While the number of pilgrims rose steadily in the Middle Ages through the Renaissance, the popularity of pilgrimage mirrored that of the Catholic Church and began to wane with the onset of the Enlightenment. The Purple Book, Office Of Mission
The Purple Book, Office Of Mission
Holy Cross Bookshelf
This untitled volume, commonly referred to as "The Purple Book" was first produced in 2011 by the College Committee on Mission and Identity to provide informative essays on Jesuit education, The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, and the history of the College of the Holy Cross. It was intended that the book might also offer a rich sampling of sacred texts and poems submitted by students, faculty, and members of the staff.

Beneath The Cross: A Historical Tour Of The Holy Cross Jesuit Cemetery, Sarah Campbell M.A., M.S.I.S.
Holy Cross Bookshelf
What began as a guide for the Jesuit cemetery at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts has become a collection of biographical profiles and an historical timeline written as the College celebrates its dodranbicentennial. The book consists of seven chapters, each dealing with one of the seven 25-year periods that make up the College’s 175 years. Each chapter includes, for its time period, a view of how the College looked, a timeline outlining the important events that occurred and a short biography of the men who died and were buried in the cemetery.

Dordt Foundational Documents
In 2015, a committee was charged with updating the language of this document and renewing a commitment of ownership among a new generation of campus faculty and staff. In 2018, after three years of revision and renewal, the Board of Trustees approved The Educational Task in its current form. This document now serves as the biblically-based, confessional foundation for the entire academic enterprise of Dordt.
