This Capstone focuses on a true crisis that affects many middle class Americans. Credit card debt has become a norm for American society and quietly has terrorized and dismantled the lives of many middle class Americans. From the rolling back of usury laws protecting predatorial interest rates, to many Americans losing jobs and income. This paper discusses the relationship between the reliance on credit cards and crippling debt for many Americans in the middle class.

This research examines the history of foreign, Latin American Major League baseball players. It looks at the history of the players, their countries and the expansion of recruitment and training in Latin America. Other factors such as race and labor relations contributed greatly to shifts in player recruitment by MLB. Baseball is an international game and today more than 25% of all major leaguers are foreign-born Latin Americans. This paper is an attempt to give an unbiased account of the conditions either good or bad under which slaves lived and worked. Special attention will be given to their housing conditions, the type and quantity of clothing, food and its preparation as well as the labor they performed. Space will also be given to the crimes and punishment of Negro slaves -- additionally the education and religious opportunities will be surveyed.
