Many clippings of a biographical nature and of his works. Attached (Click on "Additional Files" below) is full text scan of a diary kept by Hayes from 1864 to 1865 and titled "My Leisure Moments to Belle McCullough." This diary is found in Box 3, Folder 4 of the collection.
