The fifth volume in a series of Bulloch County, Georgia, cemetery surveys begun in 1979 by the Genealogical Records Committee, Archibald Bulloch Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. One Jenkins County cemetery is included because it was once in Bulloch County. A number of the cemeteries are Black cemeteries. The sixth volume is a continuation of the compilation of tombstone inscriptions from Bulloch County cemeteries which undertaking begun in 1979 by Archibald Bulloch Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. In this volume, several Effingham County cemeteries have been included because of particular interest. Two are very old and of historical value- the Salzburger cemetery at Ebenezer and Goshen Methodist Church cemetery. There are also several Black cemeteries.
