Mr. Harris was the Director of Equity Programs and Associate Human Resource Director at Marshall University, as well as the president of the Black Alumni Inc. He discusses: his family and his childhood; his education; his service in the U.S. Army and his experiences in Vietnam; a business he started; coming to work at Marshall University; the McClain family (who were involved in the NAACP and other church and civic functions); civil rights; funerals and cemeteries; church; some history of Huntington (WV); and other topics.
