These resolutions, adopted by the Three Affiliated Tribes Business Council on August 18, 1954, were sent by Three Affiliated Tribes Tribal Chairperson Martin Cross to United States (US) Senator William Langer. The first resolution proposes redistricting the Fort Berthold Reservation for better tribal council representation. The second resolution pertains to the distribution of funds held in trust for the Three Affiliated Tribes from the construction of the Garrison Dam.
