This report from the United States (US) House Committee of Conference, dated July 26, 1947, was written to accompany US House Resolution 4002 which appropriated funds for the US War Department for fiscal year ending June 30, 1948. The report included an amendment pertaining to the relocation of the Three Affiliated Tribes of Fort Berthold Reservation due to the completion of the Garrison Dam flooding their homelands.
