The Special Collections and Archives in the Wright State University Libraries was chosen in 1975 to be the repository for an extensive collection of Wright Brothers' material. Among the thousands of photographs, books, technical journals, correspondence, financial records, and memorabilia were the diaries of Bishop Milton Wright. These diaries of the father of Wilbur and Orville Wright record the full range of experiences of his adult life from 1857 to his death in 1917. They provide a detailed chronicle of Milton Wright's dynamic, and sometimes controversial, ministry and leadership in the United Brethren Church, and his role as the father …

In this letter, written over three days, Katharine Wright writes to Henry Haskell from Lambert Island, Penetang, Ontario. She updates him about her time at Lambert Island, speaks of her uneasiness in front of a photography camera, her thoughts on marriage as well as her relationships with her brothers. She talks about her relationship with Henry and discusses their hopeful future together as well as his upcoming arrival to Lambert Island. She also discusses her thoughts and philosophy surrounding a William Watson poem, and her thoughts on Henry's travel notes in addition to other aspects of her daily life.

In this letter Katharine also touches upon the stress and trouble mind Orville has had since the plane crash at Fort Myer added onto by Wilber Wright's death a few years later.

West Side News was a weekly newspaper published by the Wright Brothers. This paper, published in March 1889 through May of 1890, featured news from the west side of Dayton. The front page features a story about a Don Keely, who operates a fake motor that helps him rob shareholders that have invested in his "motor." Also included in this issue are national news, local news, humorous stories, and advertisements.

This issue of West Side News is believed to have been published in May of 1890 rather than 1891.
