Irving Hunter announces as Norm Lambert takes requests for songs to play on their show Console and Keyboard Melodies in a special, live broadcast from the Bangor Sportsmen's Show at the Bangor Auditorium March 18, 1949. Hunter speaks briefly with several show attendees and organizers, including Carl Lowe of the Thomas Rod Company, Maine Fisheries Warden Lester Stubbs, Mrs. George Wilson of Newport, Chief Crazy Bull, and Show Manager Howard Bond.
The original WLBZ station log indicated that this was the first use of the station's "new" roving microphone at the Bangor Auditorium.
