Military Activities In Matamoros During The Mexican Revolution, 1910–1915, Sonia Hernandez

The 1910 Mexican Revolution is among the bloodiest civil wars of the twentieth century. Throughout Mexico, battles broke out among emerging revolutionary factions. Fighting occurred along Mexico's northern border. Military activity also spilled unto US territory.

Several works have examined the Revolution's effect on American border towns. The impact that the war had on Mexican border towns has been largely overlooked. This thesis will provide a Mexican border perspective of the Mexican Revolution. It traces military activity in Matamoros, Tamaulipas from 1910 to 1915.
