The proposed undertaking would consist of rehabilitating and replacing approximately 2.1 kilometers (1.3 miles) of existing gravity sewer pipeline that runs along the western terraces of Stewarts Creek in the southeastern portion of Conroe. The proposed development tract is located in a largely undeveloped forested area south of the Conroe Country Club, east of Old Country Club Road, and north of Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 2854 in western Conroe. This report presents the results of an archeological survey for a 12-acre tract near Mill Creek, south of Farm-to-Market (FM) road 1488 in Montgomery County, Texas. The Montgomery County Municipal Utility District (MUD) 131 is proposing to build public utilities and make modifications to a tributary of Mill Creek on the 12-acre property, which requires consultation with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. On behalf of Carollo Engineers, Inc. and the City of Conroe, Texas, SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) conducted an intensive archaeological survey for the proposed City of Conroe Outfall Relocation project located southwest of the existing City of Conroe wastewater treatment facility in Montgomery County, Texas. The proposed project consists of the construction of a new pipeline and outfall structure within a 2,190-foot-long, 60-foot-wide corridor (approximately 3 acres in total), with potential depth of impact from 5 to 17 feet below surface.

The Houston District of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) proposes to construct a new roadway on primarily undeveloped land around the north side of the City of Magnolia in Montgomery County, Texas. The proposed roadway will be the Farm-to-Market (FM) 1488 Magnolia Relief Route extending from the existing FM 1488 west of Magnolia to the proposed State Highway (SH) 249 east of Magnolia. In January of 2015, Moore Archeological Consulting, Inc., conducted an intensive pedestrian cultural resource investigation of an approximately 17.5-acre tract and an associated water line within the Lake Houston Wilderness Park in southeast Montgomery County, Texas. The objectives of the investigation were to locate and identify cultural materials, sites, or historic properties within the proposed impact area, and to prepare management recommendations regarding any identified resources. The investigations were conducted for Berg-Oliver Associates under Texas Antiquities Permit Number 7156. DESCO Environmental Consultants, LP conducted a cultural resource investigation on behalf of Imperial Promenade, Inc. on a privately owned 4.6 acre tract of land located on the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Outlaw Pond Quadrangle 3095-124 in Montgomery County, Texas. The cultural resource investigation was conducted to meet Section 106 requirements as part of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) permitting process for a proposed wastewater treatment plant with a depth ranging from 36 (1 meter) to 48 inches (1.2 meters).

At the request of Land Tejas Companies, LTD., an intensive archeological survey was conducted by Pape-Dawson archeologists for the proposed Bowen Tract Residential Development project located in Conroe, Montgomery County, Texas. The archeological project area was defined as the footprint of the 111-acre (45 hectare) land tract to undergo development situated east of La Salle Avenue between the Wedgewood Golf Club and State Highway 105 (also known as Lake Conroe Parkway). As the proposed project is currently in the design phase, the maximum depth of ground disturbance has not yet been established.
