This South Carolina Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Records (SCAFCS) is a valuable source on Family and Consumer Science history in South Carolina during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The organization was known as the South Carolina Home Economics Association (SCHEA) from 1914 to 1995.
