Une analyse de la culture française à partir des stéréotypes du peuple français et une étude historique à partir du moyen âge jusqu'à l'époque moderne qui tente de fournir une explication des origines de ces stéréotypes. Pour chaque siècle il y a une analyse de l'histoire, de l'art, de la musique, de la philosophie et de la littérature. A la fin de chaque chapitre il y a des suggestions de matériaux et d'activités à utiliser dans l'enseignement aux étudiants au niveau universitaire.

The first module, Personal Experiences, focuses on the daily lives of men and women during wartime and addresses issues such as trench warfare, battle, training, death, and daily life in the military. The materials found in this module include diaries, letters, oral histories, cartoons, trench maps, and even sheet music. Curiosité Gastronomique Et Cuisine Exotique Dans L'Entre-Deux-Guerres Une Histoire De Goût Et De Dégoût, Lauren R. Janes

À partir de 1890, plusieurs revues de recettes de cuisine commencèrent à évoquer les habitudes culinaires des peuples colonisés. Les articles et recettes naviguèrent sans cesse entre deux pôles. Le plus puissant consistait à susciter une forme de dégoût chez le lecteur, fondant ainsi un sentiment d’altérité et de supériorité vis-à-vis de populations présentées comme primitives car mangeant du chien, des insectes ou des aliments avariés. Mais parallèlement, il existait un exotisme acceptable, non transgressif, lié à la consommation de fruits tropicaux ou de plats au curry, qui trouvèrent alors leur place dans la cuisine bourgeoise de l’entre-deux-guerres.

Stephen F. Austin State University’s Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture’s (ATCOFA) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Laboratory were engaged by the National Park Service (NPS) National Trails System-Intermountain Region to provide GIS services supporting the NPS’s development of a Comprehensive Management Plan for El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail (ELTE). The scope of work was completed under an agreement with the Gulf Coast Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit sponsored by the Texas AgriLife Research Program at Texas A&M University. Grave markers are often the only physical evidence of a person’s existence and offer opportunities for even ordinary people to ‘speak’ from the grave. Sometimes the deceased selects the marker or leaves instructions for its composition.

In modern times, the grieving family typically chooses the type, style, motif, and inscription according to commercial availability, aesthetic appeal, and budgetary constraints. A cemetery visitor will likely have no idea of the actual circumstances that caused a particular marker to have its shape, design, and decorative elements.

Like other possessions, markers are subject to fashion trends and since the advent of mass production …
