Social Justice: Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
We must admit that times have changed, though not so much in the morals and personal standards of our students. Both research and common sense tell us that the standards of behavior set by parents for their children are not eroded by college life or other influences of the larger society. It's true, however, that today's students are much less embarrassed or otherwise restrained about discussing the once-unmentionable. Some may applaud this new openness and some may wince at it, but there's not much that university administrators can do to influence it.
