MyTrials is a clinical trial journey app prototype that enables patients to schedule, reschedule, and attend join their in-person or virtual clinic visits. This product seeks to reduce the burden that scheduling places on the patient, and provides trial-provided resources and a daily and weekly timeline to help patients navigate their clinical trial journey.

Point of Tea Sales (POTS) fills this opportunity by providing recommendations (algorithmic suggestions) based on customer’s preferences (manually provided by customer), customer’s reviews (of previous drink orders), and reviews of other customers with similar preferences. Are magazine publications seeing an increase in profits since the rise of the mobile magazine application? My investigation focused on magazine publications that feel that producing their product for use on a tablet is worth the increase in resources. These applications allow the consumer to read their purchase on an array of electronic tablets, which are arguably beneficial for magazine publications in the future.

The purpose of this study is to determine the affects tablet magazines have on the magazine industry. It includes research on past and present circulation trends for print and digital magazine consumption. Interviews of industry professionals were conducted, giving their insight into the development and consumer attitudes toward iPad tablet magazines.
